I purchased this sound bar for about two weeks from me writing this review. It looks good in front of my Samsung 60in 4K. Pairs well when using Anynet so I stored the cool little remote that comes with it but occasionally pull it out to see if I can get a better sound setting. The system has a decent bass for the price and watts so I'm not sure what the other reviewers are referring to. You can up the bass to +6 from the default setting of 0 try it and maybe you can update your reviews. I'm used to a 5.1 surround sound so I cannot give this a 5 star because you miss that with this Samsung 4 series. Overall I like it and mostly love not having all the wires.

Great sound bar and sub woofer! Nice sound and bass when playing music and watching movies. Hint plug in little cord that came with it first. Tried other cords first and hdmi couldn't get to work then just tried the small cord and it worked. Easy to set up and play. Great item for price i paid.

Probably not the best product out there. But for the price, the quality, the look and the sound. I'll give it 5 starts. Definetly a great little investment. This is how it looks under a 60".

Our set up: Wall mounted Sharp Smart TV, (bracket bought elsewhere, for less$) Rocketfish hanging brackets, $39.99 Product design: Good looking, slim profile, not a bulky beast Sound quality: I am not an audiophile, but I think it sounds like our Bose Wave and I love that I can connect to my phone via Bluetooth and have amazing sound. In the store, it sounded as good as any twice the price. The lyrics in songs were very clear as were words in movies. Ease of installation: Installed by our contractor, but I think it was easily installed. Ease of setting up as part of a whole system: Hmmm, this is where it gets tricky. This is installed at our vacation house, which we rent out when not there. We have a 6 month old Sharp Smart TV and all our other systems work well with the Time Warner Cable universal remote...However, we have not been able to figure out how to set it up audio on Netflix movies to provide sound through the sound bar. At this point, when we watch Netflix, we have to turn off the sound bar, turn up the sound on the TV remote (which is only needed with Netflix). It will be seen how much of a pain this is. I wrote up detailed instructions for use on a laminated card for renters, but the sound bar should be more universally compatible. We will look into this further and call Samsung support the next time we are there, but we saw a LOT of posts on help forums with the same challenge so we are not alone and Samsung needs to fix or provide detailed instructions. Bottom line, LOVE this but really want Samsung to make it more simple. If we had a Samsung Smart TV and not a Sharp, I wonder if it would play more nicely....it is a brand new TV and awesome, not will not be replaced anytime soon.

This was an impulse buy when I bought a 65" Sony 4k TV. I was going to hold out for one of the more expensive bars, but I am pleased with the sound on this one. The bundled subwoofer makes the sound great, and it has a great Bluetooth system built in for music. The only downside I can think of is that it maxs out a little lower than I would have liked. It isn't that bad of a problem since I really don't need to blare it, but it would be nice to know that I can. It works great with an hdmi cable through the TV so that it automatically switches to whatever input I'm using. For the price, it's perfect. It just doesn't get that chest thumping noise like some of the more expensive devices. It also still has some issues with sound effects overshadowing low level dialogue, which is why I got a sound bar in the first place.

I live in a townhouse so having neighbors I cant really go all out crazy with a sound system. Needing something better than my factory speakers on my flat panel Tv we went looking around. We came across the sound bars and seeing we have a Samsung TV we were looking at the same brand sound bars but almost went with a Sony. Guy at the store showed us this one which was around $100 cheaper and we decided to get it. got it home and it took maybe 5 minutes to hook up. Great sound very pleased with it..

I bought this as an Open Box buy. It was listed as great condition with all parts. Well, that was not quite the case. It was missing a bracket to install, which it was supposed to have. I had an installer at the house installing this along with the Samsung 60" 4K TV I bought. I had to return to Best Buy to try to get the bracket. They told me I would have to buy a generic bracket because, they had none out of a box. After a little talking, they opened a box and gave me one. That was good; just took me almost an hour to get that done. The associate apologized and said it was their fault because the description online and on my receipt said that it was in great condition with all parts. I will give them a "B" for that issue. When the soundbar was put in, we were trying to program it. I noticed something in the instructions mentioning a remote. I saw nothing about that on the box and thought they were talking about programming my phone as a remote (there was a section on that). However, as I looked more through the instructions, I realized there was supposed to be a remote with the soundbar. Back to Best Buy. This time, they only took about 30 minutes to open a box and give me one. I also bought HDMI cables and an optical cable from them for the install. I give them another "B" for that. About a week later, I was looking at my credit card bill. They had credited me the entire cost for the soundbar! I much appreciated that! I had not expected, nor ever asked for such a deal. I have to give them an "A+" for that. Great job on that, Best Buy! As for the soundbar itself, pretty good. It gives good sound; slightly hollow, though, at times when watching movies (Jurassic World, e.g.), but the bass sounds quite nice. I had to move the subwoofer around a bit to get the best sound. It has to be turned up a decent amount to hear the voices clearly. Sometimes it's best to just use the TV speakers, particularly if you are watching something at low volume (at night when others are asleep), because this needs to be turned up to hear the voices clearly and then the booms and bangs will be quite loud. I would recommend it, particularly at the $150 or less level. Oh yeah, and don't buy it "Open Box", buy it Brand New.

I purchased an older Samsung soundbar that had a wired subwoofer which I was impressed with for only $99 in 2014, so I decided to try this one out since it was on sale for about $163 on Black Friday 2015. Set-up was pretty easy. It came with a fiber optic cable (which I think most soundbars do nowadays) so you don't need to purchase one separately. You can also connect it via HDMI or RCA cables, but fiber optic is the way to go if your TV supports it. The wireless subwoofer has it's own power adapter and will automatically sync up with the soundbar once plugged in. I recommend you place the subwoofer in a corner or somewhere away from the TV where the sound can bounce off from. I have it next to my sofa across the TV, so you can really feel the bass. You can adjust the depth of the bass through the remote control (included) or from your phone using a Samsung app. The remote isn't a universal one so it's very limited in options. You can cycle through about 5 different sound themes and also adjust the bass. A cool feature is that the soundbar will automatically turn on when the TV turns on and turns off after about 15 minutes of the TV turning off. Overall, I think this is a very good soundbar for the price. If the room you're using it in is large, then I'd recommend going with one of the higher end soundbars that have more channels.

I purchased this product to project the sound throughout my basement (living room & bar area). I always trust a product made by Samsung and this product has kept up with my expectations of Samsung products. Although it is not going to be the best soundbar on the market. It is really good for the price. It helped me clean up all the wires I had from my old stereo system and is SUPER easy to use. I love the Bluetooth feature it provides so I can easily play music from my phone or other device. The wireless Subwoofer is a definite bonus as well!

My husband and I are not into the big booming sound thing, so at first we didn't think we would need or want a sound bar with our new samsung smart TV, but after talking with the sales rep and friends we decided to purchase one. We also thought that cheapest would work for us, but a friend who purchased a cheap brand told us he was unhappy with it and ended up going back for a name brand more expensive and he was glad he did, so we went with his advice and purchased the more expensive samsung sound bar. We were actually very surprised at how much we enjoy the new sound bar. It definitely makes a difference in the quality of what your hearing versus sound coming from the back of the television built in speakers.

Needed a soundbar that would be fitting for our apartment. Since we didn't want to spend on a quality sound system that would disturb our neighbors, this product was the choice. We didn't do any research on it prior to buying it and was bought because this was on sale during Black Friday. Don't expect to have movie theater experience, but do expect that it does what is asked of it. Our TV speakers are behind it and would have to be turned to a very high ridiculous setting and we still had a hard time hearing when people are over at our place. This soundbar was definitely the solution. Also, don't expect too much out of the sub. We probably haven't tried using it to its full potential, but we kind of forget its there. Cool that the sub uses bluetooth technology and can be placed anywhere in the room as long as thereis a power outlet. Soundbar is also bluetooth, but obviously needs to be wired to the TV. One thing I haven't figured out yet is to be able to sync the auto on/off feature so that the speakers turn on/off along with the TV or whatever source I plug into it. So far I was only able to get the TV to turn on with the TV or turn off with the TV and it looks like you can only choose to do one or the other. If someone has figured out to sync both on and off, please comment.

I bought this Samsung sound bar/woofer for my Samsung Smart TV and I also bought an LG sound bar/woofer for my LG Smart TV. LG allows you to pair your remote with your sound bar, with your current remotes (ATT cable remote and LG TV remote). Therefore, unless you want to adjust the woofer or something, you do not need the LG sub woofer remote. However, this Samsung will NOT pair with the Samsung TV. You HAVE to use the sub woofer remote to control the volume at all times. It will NOT pair with the cable or tv remote (you can't even mute it)....which is a total pain! Not to mention, the remote is so small its easily gets lost in the bed, between the couch, etc. As far as the sound and quality are concerned, its great! My only complaint is having to use the actual remote that comes with this system, because it decommissions your TV/cable remotes. Samsung....please fix this or give us a driver to download to correct this headache.
