After listening to several sound bars I bought this one because it sounded balanced with very good dialogue. This is a 2.1 channel sound bar and it sounded pretty much the same as the 5.1 for $100 less. Hook up was easy and it sounds ten times better than the tv's built in speaker. The Bluetooth audio is a plus and so I'm using it much more than I anticipated.

Needed better sound for watching all of the Star Wars movies with my son in preparation of the new series. I wanted full sound with some base. Good price for the options available in the sound bar. I especially like the Bluetooth options. I can use it with my phone music as well.

I bought this unit with the hope that it would out perform my older LG model. I was having issues with conversational sound versus special effect sounds and was constantly having to keep my thumb on the LG remote to keep from waking the kids up at night while watching some of my favorite shows. Enter the Samsung sound bar! Not only is this unit much more attractive and sleek than the older (and much larger LG unit) the sound is more crisp and clear. Understanding speech no longer requires the volume to be all the way up, only to be blown out by special effects. Although, this still isn't perfect, it is a lot better than the previous unit (are you seeing a theme here?). Bass response is good for the size of unit and is powerful enough to be noticed in a 12'x15' room. Although this unit wouldn't replace a full surround sound setup, it is perfect for my needs and has plenty of options and sound effect presets to satisfy most people. Blue tooth connectivity is also seamless and easy to connect to most any equipped device. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone who wants to upgrade an older system that just doesn't perform to your expectations and has a small to medium sized room to place it in.

Out of the box the bass speaker synced up with sound bar instantly and one cable to the TV made the setup very easy. Plenty of options on the sound bar control and the bluetooth works really well. Sound quality is excellent and the price was very reasonable.

Was easy to set up, everything seems to be doing its job. Compared to TV sound it is outstanding....compared to 7.1 A/V & speakers of course will loose a bit. Would be good if I could figure out how to get unit to turn on with my TV/Cable remote. For the money, no real complaints. (Rec'd free as promotion with 55" 4HD TV)

Sound is good for the price. Set up was easy. Looks great. Low profile speaker. Can dim LED to avoid distracting view of TV. Wireless Sub sounds good too. Settings for movies, sports, music, etc.

I picked this up on sale for a bedroom TV that is mainly used for video games, and I am impressed! the subwoofer has adequate thump and no noticeable delay despite being wireless. it also has Bluetooth connectivity that has come in handy many times to just have a mini jam session while others occupy the main stereo system. it won't replace a traditional multi speaker set up and it won't fill a large room as well, but it is perfect for bed/dorm rooms. another solid Samsung product to add to my home. it only gets 4 stars because there are some high end sound bar/ woofer combos that put out amazing sound in an equally small package, but cost an arm and a leg.

I wanted a sound system for my TV. I wasn't familiar with sound bars until I went to Best Buy. I was pleased with the my purchase. It sounds great. Worth every penny. Thoroughly impressed with it. Very easy to setup and use.

Very clear sound with easy to use instructions. I love the different features the speaker offers and the bluetooth works great. The highest volume doesn't blow me away like i want but the open concept and big room make that harder

Using this with a Samsung TV using ARC. There were a couple of times where the audio from the TV would stop going to the soundbar and would connect to my phone, switching sources on the soundbar would re-initiate ARC and all would be good again. This continued,I got fed up, and unpaired my phone from the soundbar and so far so good. Granted this is no whole room surround sound replacement, but for a small setup in an apartment, this puts out some really good sound. Highly recommend this.

Great soundbar for the money. Sounds exactly like a small home theater system. Depending on the source, volume can sound a little low even at max volume but that is just a small percentage of TV shows that I watch. Overall it's a good value for the money.

This is my first soundbar, but it was easy to set up and has beautiful sound. I attached an older cd player through the aux input and the music sounds amazing. The blu-ray and samsung tv also sound terrific. And blu-tooth for streaming is so easy to use.

Overall, I'm pleased with this purchase as I needed a replacement for an outdated cd disc changer I also connected to my TV. I am not a sound snob but I find the sound quality to be great and it exceeded my expectations considering the low price point. Definitely a step up from my previous cd disc changer and I get great sound quality without the volume settings on full blast. The setup was a little challenging but I think it was primarily because of an issue with my TV having limited HDMI ports. Would highly recommended for anyone looking for an entry level soundbar. As an added bonus, I did not mount this on the wall as instructed and this model still works as a freestanding model.

We purchased this as a gift for our Mother and she loves it. The sound on her tv had to be at max volume before we purchased this for her to get a decent sound. A lot of the new televisions have sound that comes out of the back so it is hard to get a good sound. This surround sound system made a huge difference in the sound of everything she watches from the news to movies. The sub-woofer was a great added bonus and so easy to place anywhere in the room with the blue-tooth. Very easy to set-up too. We installed it on her living room tv and it is open to her dining room, kitchen and foyer. Great sound for a great price. She is very happy with it.

The sound is impressive. Compact design, beautiful housing, and easy to use. It was easy to install. Provides great acoustics for the price. I like the wireless subwoofer.

Sound quality is good, easy to hook up and connect to newer TV's, great price as I found it on sale. I found it difficult to mount on the wall, could use better mounting hardware.

Love it! The sound good could had been a little louder than it can handle. It should be installed for a smaller room than a living room. Still great for the price I got for it.

Instruction sheet very difficult to understand. Once I realized setup required only HDMI cable (no optical cable) to connect from soundbar to Samsung Anynet TV, system worked perfectly. Soundbar on & off and volume respond to cable TV remote & TV remote through Anynet system. Just plugin & go. Subwoofer bluetooth connected easily and stays connected with no drop outs. Soundbar definitely improved listening quality of all programs & movies.. Included remote control is only needed when I want to change sound control settings. Once setup to my ears not needed to use in weeks so that is one less control on the coffee table.

This Samsung-400 2.1 channel d Soundbar with 6.5 wireless active subwoofer. Very easy set up. I have a different one from 2 years ago and boy have they improved the technology. Sounds great for a Soundbar. Bluetooth instantly connects to my iPhone. When reading this review do not compare it to an expensive audio receiver with 5 speakers and a subwoofer. Soundbars purpose are to vastly improve the sound of the TV speakers which they.

Very good sound quality for the price. Check your connections before purchasing. My TV (Sharp55" 2014) did not have a optical out, so were using a analog audio cable. Still great sound. Easy set up. No app for IOS, but works great over Bluetooth!
