“Does this TV have a standard remote receiver? If I want to use my cable box remote to watch cable, or Blu Ray remote to control playback, I can use those to control the volume or turn the TV off and not have to switch back to the Samsung smart remote?”

I have been using my Spectrum cable remote to control the Samsung TV without any issues.

An alternative solution, as long as the cable box or Blu Ray are connected to the TV via HDMI. The Samsung One remote that is included in the box will be able to control those devices aswell. ^Cristian
