• Yes, just hooked mine up and I have Xfinity(comcast) and you can use the comcast remote or the tv remote with no problem.

• Hello, This TV is compatible with Comcast. Once you have the set top box connected through HDMI, you will be able to use the remote and get the cable channels. ^Celina
