“How is the overall sound on this unit? "Good enough," or will I be needing to eventually buy a speaker unit for it?”

• Sound is more than adequate as I am in an apartment. For general tv watching, you should be able to get by without a sound bar. You may want one if you use the smart options on the set, as if you go to Hulu. Netflix, or Utube and want a lot of sound.
