“For the smart tv / internet, I tried to use an ethernet cabel cat6 but this tv would not recognize the wired connection. The brochure says to use cat7. Could that be the problem or is it my internet line? do i need to get a cat7 ethernet ?”

• There is not much difference between cat 6 and cat 7 plug the ethernet cable into a different device and make sure your getting Internet on that device. I bet it's the cable or the switch or wherever the cables plugging into. I'm using Wi-Fi with my smart TV. Good luck.
