• The TV dimensions are 38.1" wide. Height of the TV with stand is 23.8". If your opening for the TV is 43" wide (I assume that's what you mean by 43" base) and at least 24" height, you have plenty of room. TV screen sizes are measured diagonally, not by horizontal width. So a 43" TV means the screen is 43" when measured diagonally.
