A:AnswerStandard on most tv's including Samsung's there is F connector for 75 ohm antenna lead you can hook to outdoor antenna to pick up free broadcast stations in your area. Some regions don't have broadcast stations within 50 miles or so then you must use internet or cable box. I get free broadcast stations in Sacramento California area and receive over 55 channels free with outdoor uhf antenna mounted 20 feet high on roof house. Your neighbors should know if free broadcast tv is available in your area...
A:AnswerWe bought a 55" and LOVED it, then bought the 43" and it did the same thing you describe...and we're hooked up to nothing but internet! YouTube and all browsers freeze up randomly. We took it back and got another one and this one does it too! We're taking it back tomorrow and looking for another brand or model. Pretty disappointed in our old friend Samsung.
A:AnswerI would think you'd just turn off the wifi on the TV, and do not plug it in to any network and use it strictly as a playback device (its what it is) then Only plugging your AppeTV to your network, but you do take a chance there about a hacker maybe hacking into the Apple TV, but I think there is no mic on an Apple TV box, Though not positive.
I hope hat helps

A:AnswerI purchased the Sanus TV stand. It is on sale from Best Buy right now. I have this TV on a 32" wide table and the stand is quite heave and does the trick

A:AnswerThe TV dimensions are 38.1" wide. Height of the TV with stand is 23.8". If your opening for the TV is 43" wide (I assume that's what you mean by 43" base) and at least 24" height, you have plenty of room. TV screen sizes are measured diagonally, not by horizontal width. So a 43" TV means the screen is 43" when measured diagonally.
