• Yes. There are menu options that allow you select the USB device and play whats on it.

• It has a USB Port on it. I haven't got into that yet. I would say its possible, what else could it be good for ! I would assume it uses the common formats like AVI, MPEG, maybe Apples Quick time. I think I will research this myself. Now when you try to rip a DVD there could be copy protection on the disc. I know you can "BUY" and download movies from Amazon and iTunes. I'm sure you can copy the downloaded format to a USB Memory Stick. You have nothing to loose really and a world of possibilities if it works ! Good Luck
