Mine is not loud enough either I have a smaller Sony that is capable of getting louder.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.That's a very good question. Our 48-in. Samsung Model "...5000." seems to get plenty loud, but to me, on ALL of our TV's (2 are Samsung, one is VZIO) the sound seems a little "tinny." The Xfinity TV Cable Guy was here about 1/2 hour ago to remedy the problem. He found some noise on our in-house cables, and splitters. He upgraded all (2) splitters to 1.5 g.hz. and attached new connectors to all cables. I think that the tinny sound is still there. Cable guy says that a digital cable box, that uses HDMI cable, rather than Co-Ax, would be a real audio and video improvement. Three box(es) would add $10/mo (total) to the cable bill. That is probably a good deal, but cable TV already costs too much!
