Hi BigBird! Thank you for sharing your concerns with your new HW-Q850A soundbar. Please try to re-initialize your soundbar by pressing the - + (volume) buttons at the same time for at least 5 seconds. “INIT” appears on the display when the soundbar is initialized. Please also make sure that you have the latest firmware update. You can update your firmware by Auto Update, using the SmartThings app, or by using a USB device.
