Is this Unit sold without the rear speakers? null

Not that I have found. Note you can use this without the rear speakers hooked up. I purchased it yesterday and am surprised at the quality of sound in either 5.1 with rear speakers connected or 3.1 without the rear speakers connected. It really sounds great even in our large room with vaulted ceilings. We just use it for watching TV mostly, but watching movies with this system really is impressive.

I believe it’s not the same exact sound bar but the 3.1 is the a similar thing but without rear speaker the 5.1.2 means the amount of speakers 3 in the bar and two rear means 5. 1 subwoofer makes up the one an two up facing speakers on either the sound bar or rear speakers equals.2. So the 3.1 or 3.1.2 is just the sound bar and subwoofer and the .2 is on the sound bar. Hope that helps!
