Hi Chris, Yes, this unit can be plugged into a NEMA 10-30 240V 30A outlet, as long as it’s an existing installation and local electrical codes allow grounding through the neutral conductor. You will need to use a compatible 3-prong dryer power cord (not included with the unit) that is UL-listed and rated for 120/240V, 30 amps. For new installations or where grounding through the neutral is not permitted, a 4-prong NEMA 14-30 outlet and cord must be used. Leo
