Once the wash cycle is complete, open the door and add the dryer sheets or wool dryer balls. Then choose a dry-only cycle to begin drying. 2. If you are running a full wash-to-dry cycle, you can pause the machine during the dry cycle. Once paused, press the open door button, add the dryer sheets or wool dryer balls, close the door, and then press the play button to resume operation.   • QuestionHow does the Vented drying work? Do I need a vent that goes outslide like the reguiar dryers?

    • Answer Yes, this requires a vent. Unfortunately the Best Buy installer that installed the washer/dryer unit cancelled the vent installation as he didn't think it needed it. He said once he cancelled it, he was unable to "un-cancel" it so he couldn't install the vent for us. We had to go to Home Depot and buy a vent and vent tube and install ourselves.... :-( Fail on delivery and installation since they were not able to and did not offer to rectify their mistake.....

  • QuestionCan free and clear washing powder or powdered detergent be used? I saw something about having to use tide pods. We have sensitive skin and need to use sensitive detergent. Specs say 2 dry cycles. Is there a timed dry? What does geek protection include?

    • Answer Hi Donna, Most of the detergent will work on the washer; it only depends on what the detergent is made of. The dryer has different cycles, and you can also set timers on it. Here is a link to the user manual; kindly go to page 47 for a guide on what the correct detergent is and how to use it, and go to page 55 to learn more about dry cycles and how to set the timer.
