Yes, some parts for installation are not supplied with the washer when purchased. It needs to be sold separately. For reference, turn to page 17 of the washer's manual under "Parts supplied/Parts not supplied":

I believe you would need to purchase separately.  We didn't because we used tge one from our previous washer.
