One of the 3 racks has a section that lifts off ( basically becoming half a rack ) allowing a tall item on a lower shelf to stand tall. We only use 2 racks, but it may become useful one day.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thanks for the question. The split rack in the NX58H9500WS allows you to cook more items in the oven at one time. It can be used as either a full-width or half-width rack inserted into any of the 7 oven positions (see page 34 of the User Manual). When the right section is removed from the split rack, you can place the rack above another rack with taller items on it, providing a tiered-type of racking to fit more items. Depending on the height of the tall item and the placement of the racks (such as if the lower rack is on the lowest position), you may even be able to position the third rack above the split rack for even more items!
