Thanks for your interest in the NX58H9500WS. This model does not have a built-in exhaust fan. Samsung Over the Range Microwaves do have exhaust fans and other features to compliment the Range. - Ms. Samsung

This type of range does not have an exhaust fan regarding your concern. This only has an oven vent and a cooling vent which is located at the back of the oven range. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The fan comes on when the oven is on. It pull air from the oven only. Runs at slow speed and is now louder than a typical over-the-range exhaust fan that is running on low speed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, there's no exhaust fan. Not very many ranges that I am aware of include exhaust fans, other than Jenn-Aire and a few Dacor models. We have a fan that looks very similar to the Frigidaire FHPC3660LS, that we purchased many years ago, and it works very well over our slide in range.
