Does this model have an exhaust fan? We just found out that the grate behind the burners only circulates the air and does not remove the air out of the house.

Thanks for your interest in the NX58H9500WS. This model does not have a built-in exhaust fan. Samsung Over the Range Microwaves do have exhaust fans and other features to compliment the Range.

Hi Dianne.

Thank you for reaching out regarding your Samsung - 5.8 Cu. Ft. Self-Cleaning Slide-In Gas Convection Range if this has an exhaust fan. This type of range does not have an exhaust fan regarding your concern. This only has an oven vent and a cooling vent which is located at the back of the oven range.

The fan comes on when the oven is on. It pull air from the oven only. Runs at slow speed and is now louder than a typical over-the-range exhaust fan that is running on low speed.

No, there's no exhaust fan. Not very many ranges that I am aware of include exhaust fans, other than Jenn-Aire and a few Dacor models. We have a fan that looks very similar to the Frigidaire FHPC3660LS, that we purchased many years ago, and it works very well over our slide in range.
