“Is this tv considered a flat back or rounded back? I am trying to mount the television using a Sanus aadvanced full motion and the directions are different depending on that designation. The television seems to be in between.”

• It is a flat screen. But the gentleman at Best Buy said the only time you would need the curved tv is if you had several watching and sitting all around the room.

• Hi! The 50TU8000 has a slight curve to the back and is not completely flat in back, I advise following instructions for the rounded back and using spacers if necessary. ^Tim
