Can we connect it to 5ghz wifi null

I bought this because the spec sheet said it had dual band capability. I had called Samsung customer service who said it did not but I decided to believe the spec sheet. The TV could only see my 2.4 ghz network and was blind to to the 5 ghz wifi network. I am bummed and returning it.
