:Plug the Roku HDMI cable in one of the HDMI slots on the back of the TV. Use the TV remote and select the video source button. Select the corresponding HDMI slurce used for the Roku. For instance main tv source might be HDMI 1, and Roku could then be HDMI 2 You must switch between the 2 HDMI sources when changing from tv to Roku. NOTE: You can not stream from your computer to your Roku unless you have a newer computer with mirroring built into the system by Microsoft. You can stream all the many apps included with the Roku by wifi. Most of the apps have extra charges for content such as Neflix. I can get DirecTV streamed to my computer but Roku will NOT send that picture to the HDTV. I have an older computer without the built in Microsoft software to support mirroring. Most newer computers have mirroring built into the system. In this case you are good to go with some models of Roku.
