“Does this have bad soap opera effect even when auto motion plus is off? I can't stand that effect which is why I've always had a 60hz native TV. This one is 120hz native which makes me think it's going to be unwatchable.”

I know what you mean ...if it is in standard screen setting this will happen. When I switched it screen mode to natural it was perfect. Let's not forget that this is a very very good tv. The upconvert to near 4K is real and performs amazing. There are several other settings for screen display but natural gives the perfect amount of color without oversaturation. The tv is DESIGNED to give the viewer a in person view this tv does this...this tv is amazing.
