Also, it is not necessary to spend a ton of money if you don't require much space and don't want to mount it. I got an easy to assemble stand that fits it perfectly and doesn't take up much space from Big Lots for under $100 and it looks great in my living room and fits in with the rest of the furniture.
A:AnswerThis TV does have the option port to plug in an OTA within the house next to the tv or connecting to a roof OTA. Mine is connect to a roof OTA and get multiple channels to view in case my satellite is out due to bad weather, I have another option to watch TV.
A:Answerbec, after purchasing the 55" 4K UHD Samsung, I was looking to add the 65" version of this Samsung TV because we liked it so much. Best Buy didn't have that TV in stock, so I bought a 4K UHD Visio. After getting it home, my husband and I both agreed that the picture and sound were much better on our Samsung so we returned the Visio. It just doesn't compare to the Samsung. Based on that, I personally feel that this TV outperforms a Visio.

You can simply Google the television system for the country to find out what to get. The us uses ntsc system which is a 120 volt electrical and has certain frame rates and frequencies of broadcast.

A:AnswerYes, you can. We are using a Bose Lifestyle 20 that is also approximately 20 yrs old and haven't had a problem. The one thing that is aggravating is, as I'm sure you have already learned, is that you can't use the Samsung remote to control your Bose, or we can't. It may be different with your Acoustimass 5 but, with the picture from this Samsung TV and the Audio from my Bose, you can't beat it. I would almost swear we were sitting in the theater. This only thing, if your Bose has the option for Optical Audio, mine doesn't, you will probably have an even better Audio experience. Hope this helps.
