“Hopefully someone can help me out. I'm wondering if this TV will be able to support 5.1 surround to my Vizio S4251w-B4 soundbar via the optical out on the TV? The new apple tv 4k doesn't have an optical out so using the tv is my only option. Thoughts? Thx”

It will pass through DD or DTS 5.1 but not in the lossless codec formats such as Dolby True HD or DTS HD-MA
