“Hopefully someone can help me out. I'm wondering if this TV will be able to support 5.1 surround to my Vizio S4251w-B4 soundbar via the optical out on the TV? The new apple tv 4k doesn't have an optical out so using the tv is my only option. Thoughts? Thx”

• It will pass through DD or DTS 5.1 but not in the lossless codec formats such as Dolby True HD or DTS HD-MA
