Does this Model Convert 2D images to 3D? null

As a matter of fact, all of the Samsung 3D TVs offer the ability to convert 2D signals to 3D. That said, 2D signals can still be displayed as 2D by turning off the 2D to 3D conversion feature (a button on the remote allows for easy switching between modes). -MrSamsung

This model does a nice job at converting 2D to 3D. However, you don't get the popping effect; what you get is more depth. It is still nice quality, better than the original 2D, but not as good as the native 3D.
