I think they all do. I do see water standing in the inner seal after washing and I'm going to keep it wiped down and dry after using the machine to try to see if I can avoid the musky order that is common in front olad washing machines. ( I have had 3 front load washing machines and they all seem to get that odor.) It has a water drain at the base to drain any water that may build up which should help. It also has a filter at the bottom you can clean so I'm hoping it sol
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The best way to keep that from happening is to leave the washer door open between loads. It allows the washer to dry quickly in order to avoid that musty smell.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I didn't want to buy a front loader for the same reason. I have not noticed any odor. Maybe because it uses steam, but no odor issue with this one. However, read my review, I do not recommend this product. We are flooding and calling service every few weeks and there is a wait for service, so no fun at all!

All of the high efficient washing machines today have anti microbial treated seals to protect against this issue. They are also equipped with a clean tub cycle which if used correctly you will not have to worry at all about musty moldy smells.
