Check the output of your cable box and any other Source, ensure it is set to 1080P. On Your TV: Settings: Picture Size: 16:9 and AUTO, I guess you could set it to ON as well, but I recommend AUTO.

If you TV is connected to YouTube or Netflix, try one of those 4K films. On YouTube, if you search 4K, you'll see a number of clips available in 4K. The first one should be 5 minute video of Costa Rica. And on Netflix check either 'Better call Saul', 'Grace and Frankie' or 'House of Cards.' These are all available in 4K and should fill you screen top to bottom without any setting adjustments. If not, go to Settings --> Picture --> Picture Size. One of the options is 'Fit Screen.' But it's grayed out on my TV since optimal size is automatically chosen. Hope this helps.
