QuestionDoes this TV include the VESA wall mount screws? I'm answering this ahead of time so other people will know: NO it doesn't. Takes M8 screws allegedly.

- Answer I used the Rocketfish RF-TVMLPT03, and although it comes with a large assortment of mounting screws, it does not have the M8-1.25 x 45mm screws required for this TV. I found some 50mm screws at Lowes and used three washers between the mounting arms and the screw heads and that worked fine. (Dont waste your time with 40mm screws. They are too short.

- Answer My opinion is that this TV has a better picture than any 1080P TV even if the content is 1080P and not 4K.

QuestionI just got the 8000. Why does the Samsung sometimes show live golf with the grass being more fluorescent green than real green? I noticed red colors seem brighter than the Sony 930 that I also looked at in the magnolia room at Best Buy.

- Answer TVs displayed at stores are calibrated to "sell" meaning are very bright and vivid. If you watch TVs that way at home you will surely get headaches after some time. Go to rtings.com and find the calibrated settings that suit the purpose of your TV. In our case, the TV was setup in the basement so we chose Warm 1 plus a lot other settings. Also, make sure you update the firmware. In our case, an update was applied the first time we connected the the TV to the internet. Rtings.com also updated the settings for this TV.

QuestionI just got this TV delivered today & was surprised to learn that it doesn't have ports for HDMI or USB connections. It uses OneConnect and plugs into an external device with HDMI and USB ports. I'm curious what others think about this?

- Answer I think it's great. It's supposed to future proof your tv, In the event that a new cable standard comes out. Another nice thing is that it's easier to plug and unplug devices, if the tv is mounted on the wall.

QuestionI noticed the specs say it its surround sound supported: Other. The more expensive models show Dolby Digital Plus and DTS Premium Sound. What is Surround Sound Other? My current receiver plays Dolby Digital Plus and DTS Premium Sound with my current TV.

QuestionI read that in order to get a better quality picture i need to upgrade my HDMI cables to 2.0. I was wondering though if I do buy the 2.0 cable where would u connect it to as the tv comes with a 1 connect module and that connects to the tv.

- Answer The Black one is a curved screen (KS8500). Silver is the flat screen (KS8000). Save the $300. The silver is so thin it isn't even noticeable. Just my opinion.

QuestionWhen using provided legs the TV leans back tilts at the top about an inch, horizontally it's perfect checked with level and square. Is this normal or should I return.

- Answer I believe that is normal with tv stands that come with it. I use a tv stand with shelves and have mine mounted up on a bracket just in case of an earthquake. Only because of the weight of the tv moving back and forth on its own stand it seems like it would not be as secure.

- Answer No, it does not have direct composite A/V cable inputs. It does have 1 coaxial input, 2 usb inputs, 4 hdmi inputs, and 1 optical cable, all on the external cable hub. On the TV there is 1 usb (IoT EXTEND), 1 EX-LINK (don't know what it's for, but it fits a standard 3.5mm), 1 LAN, and of course the One Connect for the external hub.

- Answer Hi Danny, what makes these TVs better than previous years; is the resolution has been doubled, there is a new way to view Smart Hub. A 2160p TV has twice the resolution of a standard 1080 TV and can be viewed on a larger TV and still have a clear crisp picture. ^Rosi
