“I just got this TV delivered today & was surprised to learn that it doesn't have ports for HDMI or USB connections. It uses OneConnect and plugs into an external device with HDMI and USB ports. I'm curious what others think about this?”

I think it's great. It's supposed to future proof your tv, In the event that a new cable standard comes out. Another nice thing is that it's easier to plug and unplug devices, if the tv is mounted on the wall.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.After using it, I like it. I was always annoyed by trying to get to the HDMI inputs on my old TV. It hung on the wall and I have an old record player cabinet in front of it so anytime I had to plug in an HDMI I had to pull the record player out and then spend 5 minutes trying to get the HDMI plugged into the back of the TV. With the OneConnect, it sets on top of my record player where it is easily accessible.
