QuestionI connected a new BOSE Smart Soundbar 300 using the ARC port (Ultra high speed HDMI cable). When I skip a recorded show, the sound from the sound bar is muted for 3 seconds every time. This did not happen with my 10 year old Samsung TV. Any ideas?

- Answer First, I must say that I hired Best Buy's Geek Squad to do the combined install of our new 65" Samsung TV with a Samsung soundbar (sorry, it wasn't a BOSE). The compatibility factor of having the same manufacturer for both the TV as well as the soundbar simplified the install. As I watched the Geek Squad tech zip through the install process, I noticed a SETTING for the Samsung soundbar that would enhance and SYNC the soundbar with the image on the screen. Obviously someone at Samsung noted this problem of syncronizing the sound with a soundbar, and decided to add that feature to their own brand of soundbars.

- Answer Hi Max! Many of the buttons on your remote have multiple functions. For example, the Volume button is moved UP/DOWN to adjust volume, and to MUTE the sound, you need to PRESS it in. If that same button is pressed for > than 1 second, the Accessibility Shortcuts appears. QuestionWouldn’t an m8 x 12mm screw be too short for mounting this tv? I tried this and when you add the thickness of the bracket and washer it barely threads at all. Would an m8 x 16mm not be a better option?

The 11-13mm listed in the user manual is not the screw length; It’s the wall mount thread depth in the TV chassis.
