“Is the IR sensor on the TV or the One Connect box? I know the Samsung remote is RF or Bluetooth, but I'm setting up Caavo system for my whole system. TV is on top of fireplace, all electronics is to the side in a cabinet. Do I need to run a Cat5e to TV?”

I point the remote at the TV and it works. I have a similar set up with the TV over the fire place and the gear is in a cabinet to the side with a door. I can control the tv and the apps for watching with the cabinet door shut.
