Samsung recommends having a qualified technician install the electrical connections. I can't speculate as to whether the power cord was installed properly, so I would suggest having the connections checked by an electrician or other qualified professional and calling 888-BEST BUY or 800-SAMSUNG for further assistance if the issue persists.
