I just bought this brand new dryer. Steam kit as well. All connected and first time I put a laundry load to dry, it's taking over 2 hours and still not all my laundry is completely dry. Why?? null

Look at the dial options if you have it turned to far to the right it says STEAM ...you don't want that, This happened to me the first time as well. Then I really looked at all the words around the dial and noticed I had it on timed dry but in the STEAM area and that is why nothing got dryer :-) Hope this helped

Mine dries fast. Have you checked your venting? Make sure it is clear of lint,etc.

check if your vent was connected and that it's not clogged. There is a test that you can do on the dryer (refer the manual) that would tell you if there are any issues with vent.

Most common reason is blockage in the vent somewhere. Not only can this affect drying/dry time, it is kind of a fire hazard. Please clean, or have cleaned, your dryer vent as soon as possible, and check it every so often as well.
