“bottom venting can I vent straight out the bottom and does it need a extra kit to make this happen ---Is there a knock out plate on the bottom also ?”

• Thanks for the question. The DV42H5000EW can be vented out the bottom using the DV-1A vent kit accessory. There is a pre-cut hole in the bottom where the vent duct can be inserted. - Ms. Samsung

• Yes, there's an opening for the vent/exhaust heat to the outside already there. Its positioned center/bottom on the back. Just use vent/exhaust hose for a dryer, easy hook up. No knock out plate.
