“After doing a wash cycle, in the event that some water does not completely drain like from a heavy blanket, can the washer be set to do a drain spin cycle only. To remove remaining excessive water if such a problem occurs? Thank you for you help. Bill.”

Front Load Washer with Vibration Reduction Technology+ - Platinum. The washer does not have a cycle specific to just spin. The washer has rinse+spin and a high (level 5) of spin, which extends the spinning process to effectively remove moisture from the load. I have shared the user manual link below.
