Greetings! We’re here to assist by providing the information you need for this Samsung dryer model. You should use a 1/2-inch gas pipe to bring gas to your dryer, but when you connect it to the dryer, you'll need to shrink the pipe down to 3/8 inch. Also, there must be a shutoff valve (a valve to turn the gas off) placed within 6 inches of the dryer, and it has to be easy to access and approved for safety.
