• If you plan to use it as an external drive. I have a Dell 13" 7000 series and there is no way to install a 2nd drive internally. You need a SATA to USB adapter and you're all set.

• Not sure about your specific model, but I'm using this as a second hard drive in a Lenovo ThinkPad T430s. Works beautifully both as a storage drive (if that's what you want) and also as a boot drive if that's what you're looking for. Good luck!
