Yes it will fit the enclosure. There will be a performance drop going USB. This is why you don't see external ssd hard drives.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Its a 2.5" drive so as long as it fits a standard drive definitely.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can't answer about the specific enclosure case you've mentioned but will say that the Samsung SSD drives are compatible with any 2.5" enclosure. I've got five Samsung SSD drives using four different 2.5" enclosures. If you use a drive speed benchmark test, such as ATTO Benchmark or Crystal Disk Mark, you can test different drive enclosures for Read/Write speeds. I found that the Samsung SSD drives actually have faster Read/Write speeds when using a USB 3.1 enclosure versus a USB 3.0 enclosure. My Samsung laptop only has USB 3.0 ports but using the USB 3.1 enclosure was measurably faster...your mirage may vary. If you can return your purchases and get your money back, I would encourage you to purchase more than one brand of enclosure case and test the Read/Write speeds for yourself. Keep the enclosure that is the fastest and return the others. As far as internal versus external performance, I have installed the Samsung SSD 500GB internally and also externally. There was no performance difference. The Read/Write speeds were 450MB/sec. both internally and externally, so in my situation, there was no performance difference. Of course, I would venture to say that performance will be based upon the SSD controller hardware used in your PC or laptop.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it should fit, since this SSD is 2.5 also, but there will be no big benefit using it via USB 3.0 because SATA is much faster meaning that internally will perform a lot better, but still may be better than a regular HDD on that case.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it will fit into an external 2.5 SSD enclosure. No difference in performance, externally or internally.
