• It's not you can buy a two and a half inch to three and a half inch adapter bracket and will fit in a desktop and work just fine

• Yes it will work in a desktop computer. You will need an adapter to install it though. I bought this solid state drive to update my desktop computer and it’s great. Really fast.

• Yes but it's physical size is a lot smaller than a 3.5 in. Drive so you'll have to get an adapter to add it to a normal 3.5 in. Drive slot.

• You can purchase mounting kit to convert 2.5 drive into 3.5 drive that will fit inside a regular pc.
