Do you need a power cable and sata cable? null

If your computer doesn't have them already, then yes, because this drive does not come with any cables. My computer had the power cord but I had to buy the SATA cable.

If you using this as a replacement for you existing SATA HDD or SSD, you will already have the power and data connections in your computer. If you are adding this as an additional drive you will need the cables. They won't come with the SSD. There is a pretty good change your computer will have an open SATA power connection but definitely need to provide your own data cable.

Awesome Fast SSD. Samsung upholding their name with this superior product. SSD ONLY in packet/Box. You must have your own Power Supply and SATA Cable to connect to this SSD. Since I was upgrading a Laptop MacBook Pro HD, The cables were there and I didn't need any additional cables.
