The HP comes with 128 GB SATA3 TLC M.2 SSD. Generally you buy an SSD to replace a standard hard drive, you could swap the unit out to increase capacity. It appears your unit does not have an optical drive, so this bay could be an option to place a 2nd SSD, I would suspect a cable is present for the optical drive that is SATA3, so compatible with new SSD, you will likely need a hardware adapter to hold the SSD (smaller size at 2.5" where the optical is 3.5"), can find these cheap on Ebay for < $10.
