It won't work unless you buy a CFR (high end photography converter) and even then not 100% IF you are talking about the Series S or X. The Seagate 1TB SSD uses NVME protocols and is PVIE Gen 5 and very fast. Not a real good deal to get this one over the official expansion card as soon a lot of your games won't be running in back compatibly most likely and no current X|S games allow the use of any external SSD but the Official Seagate. I have one got it for MSRP of $219.99 from Beat Buy and I can tell zero difference between internal and expansion card. The extra $20 for Seagate is worth it on the 1TB model but Evo 980 on sale now I haven't checked the Seagate but it goes on sale for about the same usually $199.99 and ticks all the boxes
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That, will not work. The ps5 drive has to be installed internally and the on the xbox this will only work for current gen games but not next gen. You might as well buy the Seagate drive for the xbox.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would suggest using a 2.5" Samsung SSD rather than a M.2. Enclosures are plentiful and might be better priced. I've got an external 2.5 SSD on my PS4 and it works flawlessly.
