I tried asking before but the samsung rep avoided answering me. What support (if any) do you provide for linux users to update the firmware? I dont use the spyware known as apple and microsoft. I use a SBC and my Pironman 5 max has a pcie line for this. null

For a Linux user with a 990 PRO SSD, Samsung provides the firmware as a bootable ISO file, which must be manually extracted and run from the command line.

Download ISO file and make it as an bootable image by using USB flash drive
a.       If your system is not able to download or install Magician, you can download the firmware files from our Samsung SSD site. (http://samsung.com/samsungssd )
b.       Go to “Firmware” in the menu bar, then you can find the latest firmware ISO File.
