• Hi juan, The Subwoofer does have a fabric covering the main bass driver, which can be damaged by a cat's claws. ~Samsung Solutions

• The material that covers the actual speaker could be ripped if you have a cat that scratches things a lot. The speaker itself is enclosed, but fabric covering speaker can be ripped.
