Comes with Optical connectors so no need to buy extra cable. Wireless bass is great. Needs to be near a power outlet. Sound is great low end and totally adjustable. - A:Answer You need to go into your settings using the Samsung Remote click on the home button (looks like a house) Then go over to settings click on the middle button on your Samsung TV Remote (square with an arrow) Then move to sound here you will see where the sound is coming from for your tv. For example a sound bar or regular tv speakers. You should also see an option for Bluetooth.

Q: QuestionNever had a problem with any type dvd with various Dolby audio types. Recently got a DVD with Dolby Atmos only audio. Sound kept dropping out intermittently. Problem with soundbar compatibility with Atmos playback? DVD player? TV?

- A:Answer If you are connected via Bluetooth - I would suggest trying optical and see if the problem does away. Otherwise, most likely a DVD player output issue. Does this disc work on other DVD players you might own? Nothing else I can think of except a possible firmware update. When you think about it - the TV is really only the video.... try plugging the DVD into the ARC hdmi port.

Q: QuestionI received the Samsung A445 soundbar for Christmas. When I press the volume button on the remote control it mutes the soundbar. That makes no sense since there is a dedicated mute button. Is my remote defective?

- A:Answer Hi Pete, The volume button is a toggle switch with the added function of being able to be pressed in. When you PRESS DOWN the button it will mute/unmute your Soundbar. When you push the switch forward or pull it back then it will increase/decrease the volume. ~Samsung Solutions
