• I believe these would work. You need Active 3D glasses for that TV and the Samsung glasses are the best in my opinion :) And yes, all active 3D glasses require batteries.

• It is my understanding that the newer tv and glasses adhere to the standard. All require batteries as they synchronize with the tv via blue tooth

• These will work with all 2011 through 2015 Samsung TV's with designations of D, E, EH ES, F, FH, H, HU, J, JU, and JS series. Since yours appears to be the F series, these should work as long as your TV was produced in that time frame. They do require batteries, and come with one.

• I'd say that you need to stick with the brand your TV is. I'm assuming that you've verified your TV as well as your BluRay player supports 3D. Also, make sure you're buying ACTIVE 3D glasses if your TV has ACTIVE 3D. And yes - if it is ACTIVE 3D, all of them do need batteries to work.

• I would looked into the rechargeable active glasses instead of the battery operated ones. They run around $49.99 instead of $19.99 for the battery operated ones

• I have both Sony and Samsung 3D glasses, they both require batteries, as I believe they all do.
