Customers are saying

Customers enjoy the 3D quality, comfort, and lightweight feel of the Battery-Operated 3D Glasses, also noting their reasonable price and compatibility with various TVs. The fit over glasses is another appreciated feature. However, customers have expressed concerns about the short battery life, and some wish the glasses were foldable for easier storage.

at first I wasnt sure how to put them together, thank goodness for instructions. Then once we were done we used them to watch a 3d movie, fantasic. a 3d movie without glasses on a little blurry. My grandson prefers not to use them.

We have four of these glasses, operating with a Sony TV. I bought them because they are far cheaper than the equivalent Sony glasses. They worked well for a little while, but then the battery holder spontaneously broke on one pair of these Samsung glasses. I was on the phone for 3 hours with Samsung trying to get a warranty replacement before I finally gave up. Samsung's phone system actually hung up on me twice, even though I was always extremely polite. All I needed was a battery holder but no such part was available. So I tried to get a total replacement under warranty without any success. Disgustingly bad customer service from Samsung. Even thought these glasses have a one year warranty, it is worthless due to the inability to get service from Samsung. In desperation, I made my own repair. See photo.

I use this for my Sony 3DTV and it works perfectly fine the 3D is nice and its lightweight. It does the job for me and I've seen about 4 movies on it with the current battery I have on and 2 of those movies are over 2hrs and its still working great. I saw reviews that the battery only last for like 1 movie so I'm not sure what movie they are watching lol!

These are very light weight and easy to assemble. I was surprised on how good the 3D is with these glasses after switching to Samsung from Sony. They are cheaply made glasses; however, i like the feel of them and it almost feels like your not wearing them. It definitely is a lot better then the bulky ones Sony has and way better priced.

This Samsung 3d glasses are really nice, you can watch real 3D movies, with a better quality than 3D theaters. The only problem is than you need to replace the batteries every other movie, and you can't folder it..

I have used these for the past couple of weeks and I have to say that I love everything about them they're very comfortable, they're also so light that you can barely feel that you have them on. The only thing I found not so great is that the original batteries dye in a couple of hours.

    Perfect 3D with my Panasonic

I now have three pairs of these 3D glasses. The only difference is that this pair uses a different type of battery; CR-1620 (two included in the package. The older 3D glasses use the CR-2025 battery and there was only one included in the package. The new glasses also have a different type of battery compartment; it is a screw type. I like this better than the older model that has a snap open compartment. I concerned about breaking the snap open compartment door. As far as viewing is concerned, both the new and the old glasses work perfectly with my Panasonic VT50 plasma television. The glasses sync up easily and maintain a solid 3D picture. These Samsung 3D glasses are less than 1/2 the cost of the Panasonic 3D glasses. They work best in a dark room with minimal ambient lighting because they are open on the sides. I watched Superbowl XLIX in 3D using the 2D->3D conversion in my TV. The 3D image was very good to excellent.

I bought a Sony XBR-55X850C television, with active 3D but no glasses included. The Sony glasses are like $50 each. These Samsung active glasses work great for a lot less! Syncing is easy, you basically just turn the glasses on and they sync automatically. I've heard it's easy to drain the battery, so I remove the battery when the glasses are not in use.

The Samsung battery operated 3D glasses work very well. I use it with a 4K Samsung Smart TV and the images just fly off the screen. My wife and I had the greatest time watching Guardians of the Galaxy in 3D. It is inexpensive so its good for experimentation. But the batteries wear out quickly, are not too cheap and replacing them can be a pain. I'll replace these with rechargeables soon and keep these around for guests.

The Samsung TV we bought only came with 1 pair of 3D glasses. I went to the store to pick up some more, but on two tries only 1 pair was in stock each time. I expected these to be heavy because they are active, but they aren't bad at all. They aren't rechargeable but were worth the price. The only complaint I have is that while they come with an extra battery, the batteries already in the glasses were not full strength. Perhaps they shouldn't install them at the factory.

The glasses are very comfortable and fit over most people's prescription eyeglasses they are very clear and offer an awesome movie experience. The batteries however, do not last as long as they claim. My favorite pastime is watching movies and I can't say exactly how long my batteries are lasting but I am lucky to get more that four movies watched before they need replaced.

The 3D tech is amazing. It easily compares to the quality you see in the theaters, maybe even better at times. And after personally using the passive 3D glasses with an LG tv I can say that these are much better. I feel $20 is a little on the high end, and although the batteries are not very expensive they don't seem to last very long. If you plan on using these often it may be worth it in the long run to purchase the rechargeable version.

Used this to watch Jurassic World (3D) Blu-ray. I enjoyed the 3D effects of the film. My issue was that the battery barely lasted for that movie. At this rate, I would have to buy new batteries for each full length movie that I want to watch. The material feels some what flimsy, but at the price paid, I would not expect more sturdy materials. Form and function are good and price is affordable.

3-D effect is excellent The glasses are comfortable and do not make the picture too dark however the battery life is very short and they are not inexpensive, you may want to consider the rechargeable system if you plan to watch 3-D movies often. By the way you can get about three movies for a button battery life span.

The entire experience of watching 3D with these glasses completely blew me away!!!! I've even quit my NETFLIX dvd program as they don't offer much in the way of 3D, and you can rent them on Vudu for a few bucks. The Life of Pi was like watching a completely different movie, these are great especially with the with the high quality of a Samsung TV. only drawback is the batteries don't last long, but you can buy them in bulk and save quite a bit, its definitely worth it, I will never watch a Blu-Ray again unless it is is 3D.
