Customers are saying

Customers enjoy the 3D quality, comfort, and lightweight feel of the Battery-Operated 3D Glasses, also noting their reasonable price and compatibility with various TVs. The fit over glasses is another appreciated feature. However, customers have expressed concerns about the short battery life, and some wish the glasses were foldable for easier storage.

Works well with current Sony TV's

These inexpensive 3D glasses work well with current Sony as well as Samsung TV's. They are light and easy to store. A light flicker is occasionally noticeable which I assume is a function of the active 3D process and not the glasses. The only issue is that without side curtains on the glasses to block side view, the ambient light form the side can be slightly distracting, especially if the room isn't very dark.

They are very light and comfortable. Just buy the watch batteries they use in bulk and they are far cheaper than the heavy rechargeable version.

Works great! The lens provide plenty of coverage around the eyes and they fit over glasses with no problem. They are also easily to function by pressing the top button to activate. Only downfalls is that they look a little goofy on and they start to hurt your nose after about an hour or two of wearing. Overall, they are a good quality for the price. My family bought 4 of them.

I'm not sure how nonbattery powered 3D glasses look watching 3D movies but these Battery powered glasses sure bring 3D to life. My only complaint is the batteries do not last 70 hours, I've watched two 3D movies with them and the battery life is under half. Great 3D glasses but buy extra batteries.

These work beautifully with our new TV. The price is right too. We couldn't justify the extra $30 to get the rechargeable ones.

I can not believe the quality of the 3D picture. These glasses are better than the more expensive models. 19.99 was well worth it.

I have only used the glasses once but it works well. The fit is snug, which is good for viewing but I imagine it could get uncomfortable if worn for a long time. For this price, it is very nice and workable. The one issue I encountered is that I accidentally misaligned the battery cover after putting the battery it and it took a considerable effort to get the battery out.

These work nearly as well as the $99 pair of glasses that came with my Epson 3500 projector. The only real downside is that the batteries will only last through two movies. So if you plan to watch a lot of 3D movies you will be burning through batteries like mad. I would spend $20 more and get the XPAND rechargeable glasses also available at Best Buy.

They work great with my 3DTV, I'm amazed how good the 3D looks, unless you have a 4k TV, active 3D is the only way to go

Good 3D Specs - Great price

So, I got a great deal on a 55" Samsung television and while I didn't really buy it for the 3D capabilities - it seemed to be a waste not to have a set of 3D glasses on hand in case I wanted to use them. The Samsung SSG-5150GB/ZA 3D glasses were sitting on a shelf as I was checking out with another item and simply on the price - I purchased them on a whim...and after wearing them decided they were so worth the price...to the point that I went out a bought 2 more pair so the family can each have a set for themselves. So, great glasses for the money - but not perfect. While they work well, I do have two points/issues that might impact others, 1) they are lightweight, and simply snap together for use - this means that if I tug at them they pop loose and I have to resnap them together. ...part of this is probably caused by my issue 2) they're also fairly small in design - so if you're like me and wear glasses anyway...putting these over another pair of glasses is not every a perfect fit....hence the adjusting/tugging to keep them lined up for good viewing. Once you do have that right fit - they really do work well and create a solid 3D image. Again, any flaws I found weren't significant enough for me to not go out and purchase 2 more pair...

Lightweight and inexpensive but the molded plastic nosepiece is considerably less comfortable than the silicone one on the rechargeable version. Yes, I'm aware that the rechargeable version is quite a bit more expensive but it's also much easier to wear for the duration of a movie.

I bought several of these last year for a Samsung TV and I bought more this year to go with a new Sony x850c 4k 3D TV. These are much more affordable than the Sony glasses, yet they pair easily with the Sony TV and work perfectly. I really appreciate that the new pairs I just bought recently each came with a spare battery (2 total), whereas the pairs I bought last year only came with one battery each that I already had to replace. Providing an extra is a nice touch.

I bought these as an extra pair for my Samsung 3D TV. (You're somewhat limited in choices.) The glasses do the job of translating the 3D image, but there are several downsides to them. Firstly, they go through batteries like crazy. I def make sure to turn them off after use, but more often than not, when I go to use any of them, there are one or more dead batteries. And the batteries are a little bit of a hassle to change. Hard to open the compartment, and then you have to wrangle them a bit to get the cover back on with the fresh battery. Then they are sooooo flimsy! Cheap plastic that probably is pennies to make, but they charge I think 20 bucks for them. Definitely uncool since after buying the Samsung TV, you don't have much of a choice as to extra glasses. Also the on/off button is not easy to press and hard to tell if you've pressed it and the battery is dead, or if the button never engaged. Overall, cheap and expensive both to buy and to use.

These glasses work very nicely with my Samsung Smart HDTV. Put in the batteries and turn them on and they sync to the TV. Nothing else to it. I believe there is an indicator about when the battery is going to die. It might be more the batteries that don't last long, but to save battery power, remember to turn off the glasses when finished.

These glasses are light. I have 4 pairs came with my 46" Samsung smart TV which I purchased back in 2012. I got another new one since I purchased a UHD 3D TV recently. Works great but the battery life is short. Have to get extra batteries to standby. So far, enjoying watching movies at home rather than going to movie theater.
