• No it does not have the self venting feature. However, the detergent tray removes easily and I wipe it out with a paper towel to prevent mold build up in the detergent try, then I give the silicon/rubber ring around the door a wipe as well, leave the door open for a bit and have had no mold/mildew issues so far. But it does not have the vent that some front load washers have.
