“Can you do light edits to GoPro video with this? If so, how extensive can you get?”

• Not sure about video editing, but I've used the mobile version of Lightroom to edit RAW files and while it isn't as fast as my desktop, it's surprisingly smooth ans snappy.

• Chromebooks aren't the best video editing devices. However, there are some web-based video editing tools that can help you make simple edits. I've used WeVideo before and it does a fairly good job. I haven't yet tried any of the Android video editing apps, so that may provide you with a better experience.
