So far, I have had mine for a few months and it doesn't get hot at all. I had that problem with my old PC and also with the fans running really loud, but that doesn't happen at all with the MacBook. It is quiet and stays cool even after using it all day long.

The only spot it does get warm (not hot) is under the Samsung logo. other than that its a very cool running computer.
